From 1993, Yinhai Group has grown strong and become the leader of domestic marine tourism and yacht industry. With the great witness, courage and strong will, the Yinhai staff has created the miracles one by one. Otherwise, the great dream of Yinhai building a world-class yacht industry base in China has hovered in the heart of Chairman Mr. Xin Hualong, with the approaching of 2008 Olympic Regatta and the birth of Yinhai International Yacht Club, the dream has become true.
In the March, 2003, Yinhai International Yacht Club began to be built. According to the direction of “high starting point, high standards and to create world-class yacht club” put forward by Qingdao Municipal Government, and the strategic dispose of “building the city of sail boat from Yinhai”, the staff of Yinhai have strove with many international planning designers for three years to build a world class yacht club with professional yacht marina and modern ancillary facilities together in Qingdao gold coast. The club has land area of 75000 square meters and water area of 87000 square meters. The dock was built according to the construction standard of world-class and China’s first. And it has 366 professional yacht berths. All the establishments adopt the world’s third generation products which are made and installed by Spain AISTER Company. The sea area owns first-class charging, water supplying, refueling, lifting, ship repairing and dry docking. Meanwhile, the sea area sets sailing training base, ramp into water for sail boat, taking off and landing field for maritime search and rescue helicopter and the other facilities. The land area owns club assembly hall, yacht driving training school, health and leisure assembly hall, different styles of hotels, guesthouses, karaoke, coffee shops, bars, fishing grounds, beauty center and the other facilities, which supply recreation and sport assembly hall for the members gathering high-end, fashion and distinguished sense in one.
The club has constantly taken the service belief of meeting with the needs of every customer, and striven to provide the high grade quality of life and diversified and new ways of life. In 2006, the club was judged as national 4A grade tourist attraction.
Since 2005, as the only designated training base of 2008 Olympic Regatta, Yinhai International Yacht Club has provided a international training base for the athletes from various countries, the whole set of professional services of “training, living, eating, traveling, shopping, and amusing”, which has gained the good reputation among the athletes from various countries.
In the March, 2007, State Sport General Administration decided to establish Chinese Youth Sailing Training Base and Chinese Large Sailing Training Base in Yinhai International Yacht Club.
Since 2006, Yinhai International Yacht Club has undertaken the 4th and 5th China International Exposition of Navigation. The successful holding of the two grand meetings has established the station of Qingdao as China’s second big yacht sales base all over the world.
The development of Yinhai International Yacht Club has aroused the attention of international yacht industry and attracted many yacht agents from all over the world and more than 30 famous yacht brands to settle in Qingdao. At present, several China’s largest yacht companies have established representative offices in Yinhai.
The 21st century’s international yacht development is in China. What’s more, Qingdao is the key point of China. Yinhai International Yacht Club will continuously take the spirit of “service for Olympic, grasp the business opportunities, take the subject of improving the quality and efficiency, consider the development of yacht economy as the breakthrough, and create high-end travel products on the sea” as strategic direction to build the world-class yacht industry base.
