Established in March 1993, Qingdao Yinhai Tourism Group is one of the first tourism groups in Qingdao and famous brand protection companies as well as a tourism group approved by ISO 9001 International Quality System Certification. For recent 15 years, under leadership of party committee and government, and President & General Manager Mr. Xin Hualong, Yinhai strongly holds spirits “ Advance, fighting, perseverance and contribution”, emancipates the mind, advances with the times and deepens the reform to expand investments to promote Four Innovation “Spirit, Technique, Management and Culture”, from single management, Yinhai gradually becomes a complicated tourism group concentrating on business and trade and six factors “ Food, accomodation, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment”. At present, the group owns about 32 economic entities such as Shinan Car Rental Company, Yinhai Big World, Yinhai International Yacht Club, Yinhai Yacht Driving and Trainning School, Yinhai School, Qingdao Software technique market, Yinhai Geman Maritime Communication and Entertainment Center, Yinhai Hongda Development Company. Group capital from 20,000RMB to 0.62 billion provides 1560 social careers and has capability to receive oversea and domestic tourists and delegates about 500,000 times with annually sales turnover 0.26 billion Yuan and taxes more than 46,000,000 Yuan.
Entering 21 century, especially after Qingdao launched 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta, city government put forward to vigorously develop modern service industry, to make strategic thought of “Sailing City” and requirement of serving Olympic, the group holds topic of “Serve Olympic and grasp opportunity” to enhance taste and benefit in order to break through yacht economy so as to exploit top market and products on offshore tourism. Their aim is to optimize offshore tourism and realize synchronous expansion for company scope and economic & social benefits. Implementation of this strategy creates much No. 1 and fills in a gap for multiterms.
1、Building of first international yacht club under internation norms in China mainland.Yinhai International Yacht Club covers an land area about 48600 cubic meters and sea area 86600 cubic meters. Wharf of club, 820 meters in length and 13 meters in width was built under international standards with 366 professional parking places, high-class hardware facilities, Italian returnees’ management and service and totally meet with internationalization.
2、Building of first international sailing trainning base. As a set project for 2008, in year 05, 06, 07, there are more than 600 athletes from over 50 countries have been trained and received for international sailing regatta in Qingdao, the club has become one of the first international sailing trainning bases in China.
3、To be one of the first Yacht Development Base in China. Yinhai International Yacht Club is widely concerned due to industry status “World first-class and No. 1 in China”. More than 50 world famous yacht brands has one by one joined Qingdao Yinhai. In year 2006 and 2007, China (Qingdao) International Sailing Exposition were held twice and have made great success as China’s only land and water sail exhibition. Yinhai’s top status in China maritime exhibition was fundamentally formed.
4、Building of first formal yacht driving trainning institution. On March, 2005, approved by Shandong Maritime affairs Bureau, China’s first formal institution, Shandong Yinhai Yacht Driving Trainning Center(Yinhai Yacht Driving Trainning School ) was set up. Now, more than 200 qualified drivers and 400 professionals are trained there.
5、Derivation of Shandong’s first administrative regulation on non-operating and yacht management aspects.According to practical experience after establishment of International Yacht Club, Shandong Maritime affairs Bureau through full investigation issued “Shandong Maritime affairs Bureau Non –operating Yacht Management” on March, 2 2005, and this had filled in the field gap.
6、Building of First National AAAA Grade Tourist Attraction taking Yacht Club as the main part.According to national 4A grade tourist scenic standards, resources were integrated to build on wharf many scenic areas, they are: China’s only “PRC Datum Water Level”, Large statue group for famous navigators like Zhenghe, Columbus, Magellan, Cook, Henry Prince; World largest starfish shape steel statue, World First Offshore Mechanical Color Bridge, Olympic Clutural Long Corridor, The 29th Olympic Culture Exhibition, Tour tower of City of sails etc. Those scenic areas combined with offshore yacht, sailing and top recreation items composed another top significant tourist districts besides Zhan pier, Wusi Square along golden coastlines. In 2006, National Tourism Administration authorized it as Nation’s 4A Grade Tourist Attraction.
7、To be the first teenager sailing trainning baseCommitting itself to the brand construction of city of sails, the club provides freely places and facilities for activities like National Teenagers OP Sails Tournament, Thousands Sails Championship, City of sails into school. National first Pupil OP Sails Team, the first sails and sailboard trainning base named by Water Management Center, State Physical Culture Administration, was built in Yinhai School affiliated.
8、National Science Education Base taking yacht club as main part.Attractions in Club focus on science and cultural survey, sailing champion, sailings etc and turns to be the new place for teenager science eudcation, and it was evaluated as “National Science Education Base” by Science Association.
Advancing with times, accelerating development, serving general situation and Olympic, Yinhai contributed a lot for Qingdao tourisms and gained wide concern from leaders in domestic and overseas, all walks of life as well as news media. Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, discipline inspection commission secretary Wu Guanzheng, vice-chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Xu Jialu, Chairman of Internation Sailing Federation Yolen. Pettersen, ex - secretary of Shandong provincial Party committee Zhang Gaoli, governor Han Yuqun, secretary of municipal Party committee Yan Qijun, premier Xiageng as well as leaders in state and provinces and international friends all appreciate highly after visiting Yinhai. The group obtained over 80 titles of honor such as Shandong Commercial and Service Advanced Enterprises, Qingdao Model Establishment, Qingdao advanced grassroots Party organizations, Qingdao first top 10 service brand, Qingdao advanced enterprises for financial and trade system etc. Founder, president and general manager Xin Hualong was elected as the 12th , 13th NPC member, member of 13th ,14th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and winned Qingdao Fine Communists, and winned titles of honor such as Shandong Fine communists, Qingdao labor model, Shandong labor model, Advanced individual for Qingdao economic system reform, Qingdao professional skill top talents, Shandong enriching labor medal and National Business Star etc.
